HOC has many roles in the community:  We administer rental assistance programs, such as the Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) and Public Housing programs for Montgomery County.  We finance, develop, and manage properties.  We offer mortgage programs for first-time homebuyers and are one of the few housing authorities in the country that is empowered to issue bonds to fund those programs.  All of these activities support our mission of providing affordable housing and supportive services for Montgomery County residents.
